11. Add mayonnaise or salad dressing to taste. (This step can be omitted during preparation, and people can add their own at meals, if preferred.)

12. Mix gently until the mixture looks consistent

A word of caution: Look out for fats when adding these foods to your Irish Salad.
  • Do not add fatty meats or poultry to the salad , particularly if the tomatoes have been chopped. Their acids will start dissolving the fat. Remove fats as far as possible.
  • Cured sausages with fatty areas like salami should be eaten immediately, not kept in the salad for any lengthy of time.

Balance yourself by placing one foot forward and the other foot back. Hold the handle and position your arm upper arm close to your side with your lower arm flexed to chest level. Your elbow must be in an acute angle and also kept close at your side. This will be your starting position.

Breathe out as you pull on the handle until your arm is fully extended at your side. Keep your arm close to your body and maintain your upper arm in a stationary position. Do not lean forward when you pull the handle and do not bend your knees either. Your body must be kept straight at all times to isolate the action on your triceps. Most learned scholars will say that the difference between an herb and a spice is found in where the herb or spice is obtained on the plant, and where that specific plant can be found.
