That way, you can satisfy your cravings and please your guests. Who doesn’t love a little kick of heat in their sweet treats? Besides, you don’t have to go all out spicy and sweet; you can have a couple of dishes where the spiciness is toned down for those who have a weak tolerance for spicy food. With that being said, here are # foods that will make every sweet and spicy food lover go for the third or even fourth helping:

Sweet and Spicy Stir Fried Chicken
Need a spicy twist of the usual sweet and sour chicken? Skip the sourness and go for a sweet and spicy chicken! All you need to do is to lightly sprinkle some salt and pepper on boneless chicken strips before heating some oil in a skillet. Let the chicken brown and while waiting, you can do the sauce. Mix brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and hot sauce in a bowl then pour it onto the chicken. Leave the pan uncovered and let the dish simmer for eight to ten minutes or until the sauce thickens. Take the chicken off the heat then quickly sauté your choice of mixed vegetables with butter. Serve the chicken with the sautéed vegetables before garnishing the meat with sesame seeds.

Mexican Chocolate Avocado Mousse
Yes, avocadoes and chocolate may sound weird together but they actually make an extremely decadent chocolate mousse. Get your food processor ready then put the following ingredients in: raw cacao powder, sliced avocados, full fat coconut milk, raw honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and ground chili. Process until you get a smooth mixture then check if you need more seasonings like honey or chocolate. When you are satisfied with the flavor, scoop the mousse out into serving bowls or cups then refrigerate for at least an hour to set. Serve with some berries on the side.

Mexican Hot Chocolate (Dairy Free)
Need something to warm you up this Christmas season? Give this Mexican Hot Chocolate a go! This drink will not only tickle your sweet taste buds but it will warm you up because of the spices incorporated in every mug. In a small saucepan, set it to medium high heat then pour dark chocolate flavored soy or almond milk then lit simmer. Add some finely chopped unsweetened chocolate and sugar, mix, and then let it simmer for three to five minutes. Make sure the chocolate and sugar is fully incorporated into the milk. Remove the pan from the heat then whisk in some cinnamon, vanilla, grated nutmeg and a dash of cayenne. Pour it into your cutest mug, grab your favorite book or queue in your favorite movie, sit back and enjoy the sweet-spicy goodness present in one delicious drink. This is actually becoming a trend for wedding catering venues around the world.
